04 Oct Choice?
Sunday I was speaking at a church in Texas. After the 2nd service a lady approached me who wanted me to know she was voting for Obama because he is a Christian and Romney isn’t. In addition she stated that Romney had changed his stance on abortion just to get elected. Sadly here is a classic case of being misinformed. Obama nor Romney are Christians! Obama is a Muslim and Romney is a Mormon. This is not the issue! The White House has been occupied numerous times by men who were not Christians but were decent Presidents. America is not a Theocracy, it is a Republic, and while our Founders wanted a nation free from religious oppression, they did want a moral foundation based on the teachings of the Word of God and Jesus Christ and preferred Christians as leaders. So while many of us would prefer a true Christ follower we do not have a choice in that arena his time around but we do have in the Moral Values arena.
That said, Mr. Romney has in fact joined thousands of Americans in embracing Life over Death. Why, because of medical science and technology. I can understand why in years past many used to think life began at birth and were therefore Pro choice. Today however, with the ability to see life in the womb and a beating heart in only 14 days, it is undeniable. Therefore, informed people joined thousands of medical doctors in changing to Pro life. Why, the facts! If a person chooses to support any politician who is a supporter of the murder of the alive, yet unborn I am convinced the creator God will hold that person accountable for the blood of these murdered. I suggest each and every one consider the facts and choose wisely my friends!
Just my thoughts.
