Christ at the Checkpoint. Really?

Christ at the Checkpoint. Really?

I am always amazed at the believers who place tolerance, acceptance and pseudo love ahead of Biblical truth. Does God love everyone? Absolutely yes! Does He tolerate falsehood? Absolutely not! Here’s the issue. Many Christians today have the attitude that the Jews have no right to the land God gave them and that the Palestinians are entitled to their own land. Here’s the facts briefly stated. The land of Israel, that is from the Mediterranean to the Jordan River belongs to the descendants of Shem promised to Abraham in Genesis 12, 15 and further validated upon the miraculous birth of Isaac in chapter 17.  In Genesis 17:17-22, God the creator and owner of all the universe declares clearly that His covenant with Abraham and Isaac is everlasting! God says what HE means and means what HE says, therefore no one has the right to the land except the Jews. That said, should the Jews be unkind to those of other nationalities? No, that is not until they start launching missiles at them and their families such as what has and is taking place regularly. Then they are entitled to defend themselves just like any other sovereign people.

So, along come the Christ at the Checkpoint folks (http://www.thejerusalemconnection.us/blog/2012/02/23/christ-at-an-israeli-checkpoint.html) who somehow think they can bring peace in this region which is constantly in turmoil. The truth is there motives may be pure, although misguided due to the fact it makes the Jews and Israel out once again to be the bad guys while promoting the sinister philosophy of Replacement Theology which relegates the Jews to insignificance in our day.

Please be advised I love the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Christians but we need to be asking Palestinian Christians how they feel about the Jews. If their response is saturated with venom we should beware because they must have forgotten that Jesus was born, lived, died and rose again as a Jew!
