Prophecy and Changed Lives

Prophecy and Changed Lives

Each and every day we are confronted with events that affect our lives. Some of these occurrences affect us favorably and some negatively. However, we are all affected since we do not live in a vacuum. That said, each and every event along the road of our lives should serve to remind us of the brevity of life and the promise of the soon coming of Christ.

I believe the single most motivating truth that impacts our lives is that world events are pointing us to the coming of Christ. Once we realize our lives are but a vapor, here one moment and gone the next, we begin to ponder how important it is to give that which we cannot keep, that is our lives, in exchange for that which we can never lose, that is our souls for all of eternity.

What is it that arrest your attention? What will it take for you to recognize that God became a man and stepped into our world in order to show us how much the creator God loves us. Further, He proved it beyond question by sacrificing His life on the cross.

It is true that no person knows when Jesus will come again to earth but I can tell you with absolute certainty He will come one day either in His return or in your death but we all have a date with Him as savior or judge and you get to choose which! Just my thoughts.
